DJ Roc Raida (real name: Anthony Williams) was born in May 18, 1972. He’s American Dj, turntablist, producer and he was also a member of the legendary DJ group, The X-Ecutioners.
DJ Roc Raida is one of the pioneer hiphop. In 1991, he won DMC World DJ Championship and later he was released 7 solo albums. He was interviewed and appeared in the 2001 film Scratch. Roc Raida has on tour in Harlem through several club before join group DJ X-Men. After that, he served as the DJ for Busta Rhymes.
Roc Raida died on the 7th day September 19, 2009, according to his family. A loss too great for HipHop community. Family confirm he died of heart to stop beating after the second operation spine. Roc Raida Roc Raida had been hospitalized after at 18/09/2009 from a mixed-martial-arts accident. He underwent two successful surgeries on his back and was reported to be making steps towards recovery. He died hours later, aged 37. His funeral has took place on september 24, 2009 in Harlem, New York.
