From the opening enthusiastic Hammond-bashing of I Don’t Need No… What? on this, their second album, it’s clear they’re having a whale of a time, with storming brass and wah-wahs on full.
A spirited instrumental cover of Michael Jackson’s Thriller is a gem – but overall it feels somewhat derivative, with the band following tried and tested formulae and opting for track titles such as Papa Don’t Take No Mess.
